We went into this weekend with a lot of positives from the 6 nil win the week before. However If we were to learn two things from this weekends game it would be the following:
a) students obviously don’t suffer hangovers from nights out
b) we maybe need to work on short corners
Before the game started we overheard one of the Edinburgh uni boys talking about a night out in why not nightclub, hopeful that this might mean that some of the performances might suffer we headed into the game full of positives. We were very wrong.
The first half concluded at nil nil, however we had taken around 5 short corners with no results. In the 3rd quarter we saw a goal from Edinburgh uni which definitely frustrated us and the work rate definitely picked up. The second half also saw 5 more SC with again no results.
Full time whistle went and Edinburgh Uni won fairly by taken the chances in front of them.
Let’s get some focus on SCs next week and go into next week with lots to take from this week.
